Masato Shiomi
Mr. Shiomi is responsible for managing Active Core strategy since 2000, and runs the domestic bond investment team since 2010. As a bond investment specialist who has gained experiences in both domestic and global bonds, Mr. Shiomi has managed various strategies including Active Core, Enhanced Indexing, Absolute-Return Active, leveraging his wide-ranged expertise. Mr. Shiomi has been with Nippon Life group throughout his career, for most of which he has been involved in fixed income related businesses. He joined NAM in 2000, since then he has been inconsistently involved in domestic and global bond investment. Mr. Shiomi earned his bachelor of commerce degree from Kansai University.
Eiichiro Miura
Mr.Miura is responsible for managing the Global Allocation Strategy since 2011. He has also managed various strategies including actively managed index trackers (both Japanese and non-Japanese), utilizing his wide-ranged expertise in both rates and credits, as well as in both domestic and global arenas and global bonds. Through his long experience in the bond space, Mr. Miura grew extensive skills and knowledge ranging from developing quantitative models to fundamental analysis. Mr. Miura has been with Nippon Life group throughout his career. At NAM, he served as a domestic bond manager from 2000 to 2008, and has been responsible for global bond investment since 2010, after being seconded to the global bond investment team at Putnam Investments (2008-2009). He started his career at Nippon Life, being involved in credit analysis and domestic bond investment.at Nippon Life. Mr. Miura earned his bachelor of business administration degree from Tokyo University.
